Oh My son!!
Yes, they removed his appendix too, but that was to prevent them having to go in again if he had a need to. As Doug Shippee pointed out, it was a freebie!! Surgery went well. They removed some adhesions also & untwisted the intestines & hooked him all back up. He is awake & being a smart aleck as you can tell. The Dr expects him to do well & we are hoping to have him home on Sunday. We want to thank you all so very much for your continued prayers. He has come so far & we are so grateful! Thank You!! yay!! This is Savannah, Laura Kates friend. I just wanted to let you know that Mr.Chuck was at church the other day!! Laura said he stood up during worship, which is a big deal for him (he is not a fan of the whole crutches thing). He should have his final revision on his left leg the first week of June and hopefully walking by mid summer!! We are sooo excited about this!! We (Laura and I) were wondering if Caleb's left hand still needed prayer? Thank you soo much for lifting up Mr.Chuck and Laura in your prayers!! We will continue to lift up Caleb in ours!!

Just kidding on my last comment about Mr.Chuck. I hear he walked today on 2 legs for the first time in 4 months!! His surgery is still in june as far as i know...but yay!! ~Savannah~
Savannah, I have not forgotten to pray for Laura Katherine's dad. I will continue to lift him up before the Lord. Caleb's left hand still has no function. We are taking him to a neurosurgeon on March 30. He still needs MUCH prayer!!
