A Helping Hand

Hey everyone,
Any one of you who has gone into the doctor for anything as small as a cold can empathize with Caleb's family over the cost. A fund has been created if you would like to do something tangible and practical to help Caleb in this time. This is a general fund to help pay with any expenses Caleb has incurred from the accident.

The account is named the Caleb R. Baber Medical Fund and donations can be dropped at any of the Elkhorn Valley Bank locations.

For those of you who are not in the northeastern Nebraska area, simply mail your donations to the address below.

Christ's Love

Zach and Charlie

                                      Matthew 25:34-40

34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Dear Family of Caleb and friends of Caleb -
Just to let you know we are praying for you and Caleb, aching with you and rejoicing with you in the ups and downs, as best we can. Feel kind of helpless. Just wanted you to know we care. Caleb's accident has reminded us of what really matters. Nothing of this will be wasted, in anyone's life, even ours. We pray that the God of all hope will comfort and strengthen you.
Love to you all,
Ed and Kerry-Lea Wicker, Norfolk

Hey...We want you to know that we are praying for you all. Just remember that the Lord is always with you and he takes pride in knowing that he can take the hurt and strain off of your shoulders if we let him. It is an incredible benefit of being his child. Caleb we know you are a strong person and you will prevail. I believe that your journey with God is going to get that much better. We love you!!
Love you all!

Thanks again, Zach and Charlie, for keeping us updated. We all care so much and I'm sure others like me don't want to keep phoning to find out daily how Caleb is coming along. This site is the first and last thing I check. God has definite plans for him!!! Tami, if you are reading this, we love you and pray for your peace of mind, rest, and health. cheryl

Dear Baber family,

Just want you to know that we're praying for Caleb and all of you from up here in Seattle. Joshua and Kristie (Caleb's uncle & aunt) told us about Caleb's plight before they left to be by his side.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul for He is with you - rejoicing and mourning in every moment. We are with you in spirit interceding for healing, strength, and comfort.

Peace and blessings to you all,
Deanna & Bill Matzen

Caleb, family, and friends,

We rejoice with you in God's sovereignty and grace in Caleb’s life. God is truly good, and we praise Him for his healing hand to continue to be upon Caleb. My He also bring comfort, peace, and patience to family and friends during this time. It was such an honor to meet Caleb’s family and friends at Vanderbilt Hospital and to see the tremendous love and support each of them are giving to the other and to Caleb. Please know there is an army of prayer warriors at Lee University-faculty, staff, students, families, friends, churches, neighbors-all praying a common prayer. I have no doubt that God has great plans for Caleb and that Caleb earnestly seeks His plan; this is only the beginning. Life is not only measured in time, but events. May God use this event, which will forever be part of each of us, to bring glory to our risen Lord.

With unceasing prayer,
Matthew, Ann, Claire, and Gabe Krepps
