Recovery in full swing

Recovery in full swing

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

I heard that song again, so I've decided that I needed to share the lyrics with you all. I've asked Todd to learn to play this song. Perhaps one day he'll play it for Caleb.

Another Praise to add to our list, Caleb had my name on his bank accounts, so I am able to take care of all of his financial stuff. (Especially his motorcycle payment! ) Without the added headache of power of attorney & that stuff!!

For those of you that are from Lee that want to come visit Caleb, Thank You! Thank you for giving us some time with him. He's still sleeping, so he won't be able to appreciate the visit, but please be patient. There will come a day when he will charish a visit from you.

8. While I’m WaitingPsalm 5:3, 27:14, 33:20, 37:7, 38:15, 40:1, Isaiah 30:18, Lamentations 3:24John Waller

"The explanation for this song is simple, I was waiting on God and I was hurting when I wrote the lyrics. I probably wouldn’t have written a song if my friend, Mike, hadn’t encouraged me to document what I was going through during that time. I’m sure there are few people who can’t relate to this song, but the important thing to remember while we’re waiting on God is to not just wait but to actively wait. Serve, worship and be faithful with what you have, where you are… “even while (you) wait.”

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait
I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait
I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord

That is a beautiful song Tami. Really, it is and so true. I am here thinking and praying for you and your beautiful son. Stay strong... I will pray that you have have comfort even after the last of the crew leave. (Todd and Tammy) You are not alone.
God is healing Caleb and doing things even now that we cannot see or understand. He really is. I pray that you will find peace and patience as the clock ticks slowly Im sure.
Remember that God completley stands outside of the boundries of time and has a whole other agenda that our minds inside of this clock can comprehend. I will talk to you soon. I have no money on my phone until tomorrow. I will talk to you then. Patience peace and love,
Carmen*

I would love to come and see Caleb if I had the money and knew where hospital is. I would love the opportunity to come. I am still keeping Caleb, family, and friends in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm praying for you all, Tami! When I read the lyrics to that song today, I really wanted to listen to it. Cherise and I went to the movie, Fireproof, tonight. Guess what song played the longest on the movie? I recognized the lyrics right away and thanked God for letting me hear it the same day I found out about the song :) Coincidence, I think not. Love you guys!

Tami,
We were so happy to catch up with Caleb's life the past summer via face book. He went to school with Nate & Paul taught him at PAC's. Caleb's testimony has been a blessing to us and we know the Lord has much more for him to do. Trusting in our Savior for strength and peace through trying times like this a wonderful benefit of being His children. Please know that we are kneeling before the throne of grace with you in our home each day and in our classrooms and at church. People on Guam are praying for Caleb and your family's needs. I know the Lord will continue to show His greatness to you each day!

Blessing!
